Meet
TimEtta Wilson
As an author, chaplain, and educator, she has used her home in the same way that her characters do in the story. Six Houses Down and Around encompasses some of her childhood memories as it gently proclaims the Gospel. Prayer has always been infused into every part of growing up, just as you see with the characters Afia and Maliq. The Author’s first book, Standing in the Mid-Air of Faith, gives one a poetic view of the Author’s life.
Her qualifications speak for themselves with a BA in Elementary Ed from Oakwood (College) University. MA in Educational Administration & Leadership, MSA in Church Administration, MDIV Eqv. From Andrews University. To further develop skills for her ministry the Author became an Endorsed, Board Certified Chaplain. She now ministers in Spiritual care at Corewell South Hospital and with Berrien County Sheriff Volunteer Chaplain Corps in Michigan. In 2020, she was voted Chaplain of the Year.

The Author and Her books
TimEtta Pipkins Wilson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents Tim and Victoria were resourceful, innovative parents. They also encouraged her to use her art and writing skills. She has shared her love for children as a principal and teacher for over 30 years in a K-8 system in both parochial and public-school systems. She currently lives in Berrien Springs, Michigan and serves as a health-care Chaplain.She recorded her first CD Healing Streams for the Soul, a meditative musical melody of poetry. Later she published her first original poetry anthology entitled Standing in the Mid-Air of Faith.
